Listen to other Internet without Fear shows
Today we are joined by Chris Byrne of SpinnakerPro and we will discuss how you can keep in touch with your clients via online newsletters.
The show is sponsored by ICS Skills, who bring you Equalskills the fun and exciting way for complete beginners to learn all about using computers and the internet – for young and old.
As we are learning, the internet is part of our lives with over 50% of the population connected.
Whether you want to drive sales, build customer relationships or communicate more efficiently with staff and channel partners, email newsletters give you the ability to create long-term relationships with your customers and market your product and services more cost effectively.
Do online newsletters and ezines really work, or does most of them end up in people’s spam boxes?
Facts Section
The majority of customers who receive email from a company have a more positive image of that company, according to a study by marketing firm Epsilon.
The survey found that 57 percent of consumers had a more positive impression of firms they had purchased from when they received a follow-on email from them – and 40 percent said such email made a future purchase from the same company more likely.
The vast majority – 84 percent – said they liked receiving email from companies they had signed up with, and more than half saved such messages for later review.
“Email builds loyalty and brand awareness and drives on- and off-line behaviour,” says Kevin Mabley, senior vice president of Epsilon Strategic Services.
So what is the power of email marketing and can you use it to promote your business and sell more?
