Listen to other Internet without Fear shows
We are joined in the studio this week by Ronan Harris, online sales director of Google and we will talk about the role Google plays on the Internet, and of course you can join in live.
The show is sponsored by ICS Skills, who bring you Equalskills the fun and exciting way for complete beginners to learn all about using computers and the internet – for young and old.
As we are learning, the internet is part of our lives with over 50% of the population connected.
One of the biggest advantages of the Internet is that you can search for specific info rmation and get results in a split second. This is what Google and other search engines provide for free – the question is how relevant search results are to what you are looking for and can this be influenced somehow by website owners?
